Ok, Vanisle Hi Cri Quad, FETtie and a bunch of trits installed.

I'm thinking about buy a VanIsleDSM Quad drop-in for this host as well. How well has it worked as far as heat dissipation goes? Did you have any issues with the installation?

Absolutely no problem. The installation, including the VanIsle FETtie, was very simple.
With a fully charged battery, the head is after 10 minutes or so pretty hot with my 4.2A quad on high.

It's bright as hell and I absolutely love the TnC host with this drop in.

Excellent - thanks! I'm currrently looking at the 5.6A S2 bin drop-in but I won't ever be running for long periods (I have other lights to fill that role). This should be a lumen cannon!!

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how well the McClicky switch would handle 5.6A?
