I have a Cyclops SIRIUS LED CYC-9WS that just laid an egg on me after only about 4 months. I charged it up and after about 1 1/2 days it would not function at all on high power after the red charging light went out. It is off warranty after 90 days. I really liked the high power, but I have no faith in it now for dependability. Could you recommend a good high power LED that is rechargeable that won't break the bank?

That light is only 240 lumens; most of our flashaholic lights are at least that bright if not far more so - that means you have a broad range of flashlights to choose from that use common cells, and by using rechargeable batteries, become rechargeable lights. This $80, 460+ lumen model that runs on 4xAA cells is a good example.
