Greetings Everyone
I have a build in mind that would use four 18650s in series in a dual-bored Mag 2D body. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if any pictures have been posted of the battery holder and/or battery pack.
Thanks!
Cheers,
BG

Friends don't let friends use alkaline batteries.
Accomodating 4 18650 in standard size 2D M*g with stock switch is simply impossible, no matter how you bore out the barrel.
It is absolutely possible to go with 2.5D like this but with serial connection. It will require some complicated (expensive) connectors but practical.
Hi, mine is a little longer that a 2D I cut a 4D and it is bored to make the room to the two 18650 side by side. I will show you some pics tomorrow.

It's possible but you need 2.25D length. I own a light that is configured just as you want.
Techjunkie made his XX-Ray using 4S 18650 in a 2.25D body.
Thanks for the input gents. I would appreciate any details you could provide with respect to the 4S battery pack. Specifically, I am curious to know what you are using for "end caps" on the pack, and how you attach them to the cells.
