I have an older Surefire weapons light the model M951, I would like to find a lamp assembly (LED) that would be brighter and possibly extend the runtime with out breaking the bank, thanks to all who reply very much.

Welcome Varmint! Do you have the M2 sylte bezel? If you could post a pic it would help. It also depends on the style of collar. To keep things simple, you could just grab a KX4 (they go for around $45 on the MP). Using other drop-ins, although better, could lead to some heat and compatibility issues, etc.. You could get a "P60" stlye drop-in, such as a nail-bender, and a regular bezel. The M2 style bezel tends to trap heat in the compartment and loosen the adhesives if left on for long periods of time. Like I said, to keep it simple, grab a KX4 and call it a day. Hope this helps!
