Powerpax slimline for 18650 batteries (spare battery holder)

A couple of days back I emailed powerpax to ask if they are making a holder for 18650 batteries and this was the response I got:

Can you clarify if it will be for protected or unprotected cells?
The small size difference may mean they aren't held tightly in place or are too long for the bottom clip.

We must hope they are aware of the size difference in both diameter (18 to 18.7 mm) and length (65 to 70 mm).

I have alot of those holders for aa and 123 cells but wont use them on protected batteries , I wonder if the pressure from the tab sliding on the side could be damaging to the protection wire.

I reposted in the first post the reply I got because I asked for permission to do it and I have it written, so it's not a private response and shouldn't be edited as its not against the rules...

Anyway, still waiting for the holder!
