Been using the Trustfire Flames for about 2 years now. I had not used one of them for a while so I checked the voltage and it read zero. I was about to pitch it when I realized the over discharge circuit may have been tripped. Just to be safe I charged it in the middle of the garage floor and it charged up fine and has held it's voltage for a few days. My question: When the circuit is tripped, the battery will show zero voltage, correct?

These cells are used to run the power hungry Manafont 3 mode so I just wanna be sure I'm cool.

Yes, you are correct. Zero until reset. You may have some irreversible damage if its been down for awhile. When the circuit trips charge the battery up as soon as possible. The sooner the better.

Pop it on the charger just for a few seconds then remove it, then measure the resting voltage of the cell. If its much under 3v or so it might be good to toss it.
