hello
I'm new here and I'm doing a project for school, where I am building a bicycle.
only problem is that i would like to have some insane lights on it, whitout spending 600$.
my question is: what to use, bulbs? leds or hallogen etc, battery, and reflectors to make a very powerful light,
much to powerful for a bike and still keep it low cost and quite small..

all suggestions appreciated!!

Many options available. LED is always a good bet as there are many, very bright, low cost, (under $100), including battery. If you want to go more insane, you might try buying or building a 35 watt HID with a s or 4 inch reflector. This should give good throw and provide side lighting needed when riding your bike. I've even thought of building small little turn indicator lights, both front and rear on a small 'stream-line' bar, kind of like a motorcycle. There are many possibilities with this one. I look forward to seeing this thread develop, as I have thought of doing something similar to this myself.
