I was waiting on a new charger that just came out, but it was recalled due to some issues the company was having with it.

Anyway I have 2 14500 AA sized batteries that have been sitting around and needing to be charged so I can use them in my light.

I do have a sanyo eneloop battery charger that charges the AA sized eneloop batteries.

Will it work for charging the 14500 batteries?.

Thanks in advance..

NO.... 14500s are 3.7v lithium ion, eneloops are 1.2v nimh the chargers are NOT compatible with each other and could be dangerous to use either charger for the other battery.

basically only use batteries and chargers that are designed for each other, especially with lithium ion batteries as the risk of explosion when improperly charging batteries can go way up with unprotected batteries.
