    Default Elektrolumens Repair Question

Just dropped my brand-old Blaster NG on its bezel, shattering the hacked-in lens. () I'm going to return it to a TIR configuration, so no huge loss there - but it cross-threaded the bezel. () How do I get the bezel off without damaging anything? ()

I'd send it back to Wayne for a new bezel and whatever else might need fixing.

Prob just the head to cheapen up the shipping.
Keep it between the ditches and the shiny side up.

Update: I busted a solder joint to the LED. Then I burned out my soldering iron trying to put it back in place.

How do I solder the **** back in place while it's close enough to the heat sink that I can make it reach, and not actually sucking all the heat out of the joint?

Use a higher wattage soldering iron, 40 watts minimum. They heat up joints faster than the heatsink can take the heat away
