Just dropped my brand-old Blaster NG on its bezel, shattering the hacked-in lens. :)shakehead) I'm going to return it to a TIR configuration, so no huge loss there - but it cross-threaded the bezel. :)sick2:) How do I get the bezel off without damaging anything? :)confused:)

Update: I busted a solder joint to the LED. Then I burned out my soldering iron trying to put it back in place. :shakehead

How do I solder the **** back in place while it's close enough to the heat sink that I can make it reach, and not actually sucking all the heat out of the joint?

Use a higher wattage soldering iron, 40 watts minimum. They heat up joints faster than the heatsink can take the heat away
