Hi,
These replacement 1 watt LED bulbs, many times rated for 3v - 9v operation, do they have a small voltage regulator built into the base ? ( not just a resistor)?
I got a couple of these from a source that has the screw base for use in old bicycle lights ,etc , using these on my old Raleigh , with a dynohub, I wired them in reverse , so one would conduct to keep reverse voltage getting to the other , and visa versa. But I noticed after a while ,one was acting strange as outdoor temps dropped, it would go bright/dim , as if it didnt know what to do... maybe a defective regulator??
Thanks,dave
