Hi guys,

does anyone got any experience with the XTAR 18650 batteries 2600 mah?

I have read some positive posts about them, but not really a solid conclusion.

Thanks!

They are well made but they are a little too big in diameter to fit in almost all my 18650 lights. The wrapping material is too thick compared to other protected 18650 batteries. What brand of light are you wanting to put them in?

I would like to use them in Sunwayman lights. As far as I can see, there is enough space left.

I don't have any Sunwayman lights. The ones I have that the XTAR batteries won't fit are these-Thrunite Catapult V3, Lumintop TD15X, and Spark ST460NW. They will not even go in the hole. There is no problem with fitting in a Dereelight DBS or Solarforce L2P.

That's good to hear that you have a lot of lights that the XTAR fit in without a problem. Off topic but I love your avatar, Data rocks!

No problems with Shiningbeam S-mini or Tiablo A9.

edit: oops -- thought the Tiablo worked, but just tried it again, and they don't fit. Sorry for the misinformation.
