I'll use the checklist to keep this as organized as possible for anyone that is kind enough to jump in and provide some recommendations. The few additional comments I'd add:
- I really DO want to be able to utilize 18650 cells. I have hundreds of good ones that I want to put to use for this.
- I have a quad SST-90 that just floods my room with light. I'm looking for at least as much, but preferably more OTF light than the quad SST-90 I own, but focused.
- If some DIY is required that's ok. However, I do not have access to machining (lathes, etc).
