Hello All!

This sale thread for P60 XML drop ins RUN 5. You can refer to the threads above for reference as well as photos.

Here are the general guidelines that applies to all of my P60 XML Drop in

- Please wrap the drop in tightly with aluminum foil before inserting it into your host. PM me if you are unsure how to do this.
- Free Shipping to USA and Canada. Anywhere else add $5 or PM me.
- Please refer to the link above for references
- About 1000 LED Lumen at 4.2A
- When you order please let me know if you want OP or Smooth reflector.
- For direct drive drop in: 3-4.2V Only. Please Use IMR123, IMR14500, and regular 18650. No 26650 or cells that are bigger than 18650 size.
- Thermal Injection by default
- Paypal gift or add 4%. (Please include your CPF name and Shipping address)
- I take money order too
- Orange Peel reflectors has best beam with sacrifice of some throw...my personal recommendation
- Smooth reflectors are great for THROWS but beam profile not as perfect as OP. The reflectors I use allow the LED to go in deeper into the reflectors so the lights focus better

McClicky Switch: $7 each

4 Driving Options are available with each in a different color below

1 Mode Direct Drive Low voltage, cheap, max brightness: 4.2V Max
Solder Filled is an option for direct drive drop in only and it cost $5 extra. Thermal Injection by default for all drop in sold in this thread is solder filled is not bought. Solder Filled greatly help with heat sinking.
$35

Multi-Mode High Current & Low Voltage option
: 2.7-4.5V max

2.6.2012 Update

XML-T6 Sale
I have about 5-8 XML-T6 Bin LEDs for discounted price. According to my light meter through a ceiling bounce test they are about 7-15% less bright compared to the XML-U2. The tint are still pleasantly white. These drop ins will be $15 cheaper than the XML-U2. Let me know if you are interested. OP reflectors are not in yet but should arrive soon.

Hi Vinh,

One thing I was wondering, can you custom program the medium mode as well? These options will make a sweet drop in!!!

I'm happy to see the 'no mode memory' option. I'm guessing the single mode 4.2-~12v option is still available? I don't see it in your post above.

Medium is 35% of Max. I cant change it. I trying to read on what we can do to change it in the MCU but so far I don't know.

I made a video on how to wrap a P60 Drop in last night due to some request and it took 14minutes! First time making a video ever so it kinda sucks..LOL

Re: vinhnguyen54 Run 5 Cree XML P60 Drop In 1000 Lumen Warm, Neutral, Cool White

I want to make sure I understand these new driver options perfectly clear, so here's a few questions:

1. If I choose, for example, B: No mode memory, 8) High, Medium, Moonlight, it will switch on in High, nomatter which mode it was switched off in last?
2. At 2.5-4.5V regulated, any single Li-Ion cell big enough to produce desired amperage is fine, regardless of protection or chemistry?
3. Is there a low-voltage indicator (blinking, etc.) at 2.5V?

Re: vinhnguyen54 Run 5 Cree XML P60 Drop In 1000 Lumen Warm, Neutral, Cool White

1) Yes. I am 80% sure but I will confirm this and report back
2) I think Yes. I have only tried 3 nihm, 1 li-ion 18650 and 1 IMR 26650.
3) No. Under 2.8V the output will automatically reduce to 35% and blink once a minute

Re: vinhnguyen54 Run 5 Cree XML P60 Drop In 1000 Lumen Warm, Neutral, Cool White

Great, thanks!
3) No. Under 2.8V the output will automatically reduce to 35% and blink once a minute
By the way, I consider the above an adequate low-voltage indicator; perfect for my older FM 1x 25500 that won't fit IMR 26500. I don't have any old AW protected 25500s, so I'm stuck with the DX unprotected 25500s.

Anyone following this thread know of any higher quality/capacity 25500s than the DX?

Have you confirmed this yet?

Also, in your updated post 1, you forgot prices for the pink and green driver base prices (blue = $49, red = $45).
