nice work Toby
damascus is great for this
any other developments lately ?
Morelite is right, thats not the marketplace and it would
be against the rules. My last thread (Beadbomb) was deleted for
that reason.
@gollum
Many thanks
There is another project in the pipeline but the next months...
Greetings from Germany

These are awesome, they came out great.

Still waiting for mine...sigh....
Karl
Mine arrived a few days ago, the design and quality are up there with the best of them. The many small holes works really well, and the trit is at least as visible as my Krypto-Lite Chinese Lantern. It feels very solid since it's all one piece too. It is quite a bit bigger than the Krypto-Lite, I can take a photo if anyone's interested. Anyway, thanks Toby!
Geeze. I wish there had been some kind of announcement in this thread that there was a sales thread for these over at the martketplace. All are already sold.![]()
Toby, I finally made it to the post office today and picked up my Glowworm. Beautiful and absolutely perfect Now to put it on a lanyard...Thanks.....Robert.
Still waiting for both of mine :sadpanda:
EDIT: Mine shipped two days after this post, on 3/30 after some follow up PMs

I can't figure out how to PM Toby. When I click on his name it doesn't give me PM option. Hunting bead bombs.

If you countersunk the holes, would it be easier to create a positive meniscus in the clear epoxy or NOA to intensify the tritium glow?
that is an idea, but no need to do more titanium work methinks...
take a plastic strip roll it up and stick inside, let it unroll and expand
dump in the norland, cure it, rotate, repeat until all holes filled
then get a high speed cutter, grinder, and polisher and bore the center
out [to remove the plastic inner sleeve if it doesn't come out clean]. presto, lots of
clear light pipes in the holes, polish to perfection.
in fact I might try that if I can get some drill press time and appropriate sized cutters

That sounds off a lot of work for no noticeable effect IMO.
The best way is to take not a beadblasted one and a bright
glowing tritiumcolor...(like green or iceblue)

Do you use lock tite and if so what is the best to undo the allen key without damage.
Yes i used middle lock tite...should be no problem to unscrew with the right allen key![]()

Good Afternoon Toby,
I was just wondering if there are any more of these in the works? Also, do you do any kind of sign up or is it strictly first come, first served.
Many thanks, John

Hello Toby. Greetings from Canad. I just found this site yesterday totally by accident while I was looking for tritium vials for night fishing. Very Interested in all your work. Also very sorry to miss out on your original beadbombs. They are just the bead I have been searching for, but I was a little too late. I hope you reconsider and make a few more of those again. I know lots of people including myself would buy them. This is my very first post here on Candle Power. I do not yet have enough posts to contact you. I dont want to missout on the Glowworms like I did on the beadbombs so please contact me with a pm so I may place an order.
Thank you for your time and consideration

awesome little piece .. what software do you use in your design process?
Here is a pic of the first Glowworm made in copper...not yet finished on one side, but looks really great so far.
There will be also some made in brass and bronze.
