Hey there! It's exciting when other people (besides myself) start threads in my sub-forum!

SHOT was good. Unfortunately I don't really have any photos...vegas you know. I got to meet some luminaries like David Allen (Laughing Rabbit), Gene Malkoff (Malkoff Devices), and Henry Schneiker (HDS Systems) so that was pretty cool. Also met the folks from 4Sevens (thanks for the dinner David!) and I hung out and bothered the guys at the Fenix booth for a while. Oh and I saw the entire cast from "Sons of Guns" and the host from Top Shot.

At one point I was talking to a (un-named) guy about a tactical light concept I'm fooling around with and he had to pause and take a call from the master armorer for SEAL Team 6...so I waited politely :) Oh and I also had my first random "hey, are you Jason from Dark Sucks?' moment while I was standing at the Surefire booth. It was one of my customers (Trent) and I guess he recognized me :) I was pretty shocked since we'd never met in person before. Sorry there was no time for a beer though!

I also went to the 4Sevens dinner and sat next to Rothrander (Valiant Concepts) and had a good time talking about CNC and the freebie titanium 4Sevens pen! It was also a real pleasure to finally meet Greta and her husband and get a chance to know them a little better. Then the next night I put one of my lights into the raffle at the Battery Junction party instead of trying to throw it into the pool from 11 stories up...I know, I know, wrong decision. I even managed to sell one of my limited edition copper lights!

Anyway, the show was fun and not (yet) sure how productive in terms of business, but I think some good things will come of it down the road! It also made me realize how few CPF'ers even know I exist...so don't be afraid to tell your friends :)

If anyone has photos from the show feel free to post them here!

Sounds like a great time! Still wish I could've been there so we could've stop by Charlie's place and lit up a cigar! Would've been a nice surprise for him, as well as to see the cigar lounge he opened!

Now what's with this new Tactical Light Concept?

There was a party thrown by BatteryJunction.com in a suite in Vegas last Wednesday night for the SHOT show with a variety of prizes.... Jason put an Alpha in for the raffle and I won! Pic below of some of the prizes....

Congrats on the win! ... ... Alpha's a great light! Did you win all of those items in the photo? If you did, I would've hit the casino n' kept the lucky streak going!

Sounds like you need your own personal photographer to shadow you.

I am expensive, however, I think we could work something out. It would nice for you to have some photos of your early days for historical reasons, also, for promotional use.
Just joking...wait I could do something for you if I cover it next year.

Hah, that would be great! Let's see what happens next year. Maybe things will be going well enough that I can even pay :)
