If its a battery fault shouldn't apple recall those iPhones that are equipped with that type of battery? That what they did with the iPod nano. Just because the Gen I iPhone battery greatly exceeds its cycle count specification, doesn't mean that the 3gs' cell hasn't. My gen 1 iPhone hasn't exploded either.
