Spark or Zebralight are your first two considerations. I use a Spark 2AA for my attic work but 18650s are available from both.

I do HVAC work. I always have a ZebraLight headlight with me. I used to use an H50, then changed to an H501w....I now use an H600w. I would highly recommend the H600w. It compliments the SC60w I always carry in my left front pocket. I carry a spare 18650 cell in a plastic waterproof match case, but have never needed to swap cells while working.

I have the Sparks SD6 NW. 100% wide beam flood. In the future the Sparks will offer changeable reflectors. If I had to do it again, I would get the AA version instead of the 18650.

I do a lot of work in the attic of my older house, and frequently use a ZebraLight H60. It is the older all flood version, and works excellent in the confined space. The lack of a bright hotspot makes it easy on the eyes, and reduces the shadows. I always carry a hand held light with me in case a battery dies, or I need to see something at the eaves.

Sorry danny, but my vote is for the neutral for better color rendering. This coming from a guy that sometimes makes his living in attics. That being said I own a ST5 and a SD52. I only use the SD52 at work, the beam is way better in these situations.

Surefire's new Maximus is powered by a 18650 rechargeable and is rated at 1-500 lumen.
