I own a Spark SD52 headlamp that can run 2 LiPo4s. I think I would like to try this as it would increase the lights performance. where is a good source for these batteries and do I need a LIPO charger? I have a Lion charger already. I don't know much about LiPo? I need some education I guess.

Do you mean LiPo (Lithium-Polymer) or LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate)? These are two very different chemistries, and you shouldn't ever mix them up!
LiPo's (Li-Polymer) can be threated as Li-Ion, and charged with Li-Ion charger, because they have same charging profile - 4.2V CC/CV.
But with LiFePO4 you'd have to get different charger - because LiFePO4 has nominal voltage of 3.3V (can be 3.2V sometimes) and charging profile being 3.65V CC/CV.
