Does the Malkoff host rattle with CR123s loaded? I was just wondering since it also takes 18650s.

Fresh off your nearest printer? I've sleeved batteries of all sizes with paper and duct tape.

While I'm sure that will do in pinch wouldn't that be kinda messy? A nice plastic reusable tube would be better, no?

The thickness of a "sleeve" required to prevent rattling is really quite small. A plastic sleeve thin enough to do the job would be a fragile little thing (not like the sleeve for running AAs in an MD#). Really, cut a piece of paper to length, roll it up until it fits in the tube and you'll be rattle free. Plus, you'll always have an emergency piece of scratch paper
