sounds to me like he's looking for portable as opposed to plug in lighting, so wobble light wouldent work unless he drags a gen with him.
    if your not wearing a #12 welding screen than it ain't bright enough! "Hand-Sun H.I.D." 55w & 75w(for sale), Rocky 3w LED, Stanley 109 35w mod'd, Maxa-Beam Gen II, 55w hid/100w incan Vector Twin, 400w MH long arc, 100w MH mid arc.

Default advice for bright lanterns? what should i purchase?

hi,i am looking to buy either one really bright lantern possibly gas,or two decent led lanterns. it/they will be used to light up 2 20x20 white painted half pipe bowls at a local skate park.so optimal lighting is what i will neeed.i was leaning towards two rayovac 300 lumen lanterns. based on the reviews it looks i might have to opt for a coleman twin power instead? or should i go with a high powered gas lantern?i understand that if one lantern were to fail i would be left with 0% lighting in my case.they will be used in an open ventilated area.

It sounds like you could be the first person who has an actual use for a Wobble Light, if your budget goes that high.
