I ordered a "test" ST6-460NW for myself to evaluate before ordering a 2nd for my wife. Both came from different retailers, about 2 weeks apart. Unfortunately, I'm seeing some pretty drastically different tints between the two.

Here is a pic:

The same pic with the shadows bumped to emphasize the color:

Is this something to do with the runtime/aging of the LED? Or a result of the manufacturer using totally different LEDs? I have to say, the 2nd one (right) looks way better in real life. Its slightly red, warmer tint is much more appealing than the greenish tint of the first.

Im sure they just got in a different tint bin

they both look somewhere in the 5 range--> 5B2 and 5B4 I would guess

unless you are ordering a specific bin its usually a bit of a lottery with
most OEM light manufacturers

custom or homemade is where its at if you are picky (like me) about tints
I like to be able to order the EXACT bin I want if possible

my 460NW looks more like the greener one u have
looks great outside but greenish indoors
