    Default Leatherman Wave sheath

    Hey all,

I'm looking to get a replacement sheath for my Wave as the one I have now is falling apart, but I want this one to fit the LM bit kit securely.

Would anybody happen to have this sheath and use it with a bit kit? If so, how well does it work? Security is important here as I work at height frequently.

    Thanks!

For what I have read, you can carry only one sleeve of the bit kit in that holster. If you get the sheath one size larger than the multitool, you should be able to carry both sleeves of the bit kit.

I carry a Wave everyday with work and this is what i use: http://www.niteize.com/products/clip-pock-its-xl. In fact i just upgraded from the old style Clip Pock-Its to the new style. It holds my Wave, large bit kit, bit extention, extra pen, Mini Maglite LED Pro+, a spare key for my locker and Benchmade Rescue Hook. There is still room left over for more. I work on the water and have never had anything fall out on me. I prefer the new style that has a belt clip and not a belt loop so I can remove the sheath quickly without having to undo my whole belt. Its obviously a bigger package then the original Leatherman Sheath, but I like it. Plus Im the guy everyone is always trying to borrow a light, tool or blade from lol. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the feedback guys. That NiteIze sheath looks crazy, I'll have to give that a try.
