EDC 1 CR123A like NiteCore EX11.2, but without problems

I carried a modified Arc LSH-P for years.
Thought I would move up to something more modern and efficient.

I have recently tried a Nitecore EX11 V2 and like the light.
However, I have all sorts of problems with it, such as going to low when turning off and not turning on without opening the battery compartment.
I like the variable operation and the low end low.
My biggest problem is that I don't trust this light at all.

I also recently picked up the LumaPower Incendio.
The low is not low enough for nighttime.
The walk through steps isn't my favorite UI.
The build quality feels better.

My problem is that there are soooo many lights.
When I started, there were only a few manufacturers, now there are hundreds.
Can anyone suggest something along the lines of these two?

Thanks,
FS

Quark 123 Tactical.

Two programmable modes, accessible by tightening or loosening the head.

I have a Sunwayman V10R R5. The low low is ridiculous low and it's variable output levels are cool. I think this would be an excellent option for you.

Try HDS Systems.

Excellent build quality and built like a tank. Shortcuts to low, med, high, and extra level (4) and all levels are programmable (you can have a low, low, or even a super low, low!). Much like the Nitecore EX10, but WAY more reliable. The 120 lumen version starts at $100 and all of Henry's lights get a lifetime warranty that's transferable to all owners (of you decide to sell the light).

+1 for HDS, I have three and love them.
I have a Sunwayman V10a XPG and after owning it for 6 months, it's never let me down. I live that I can pick the brightness even when the light is off  I'll be getting a V10r XML next me thinks ;)

I've been staring at HDS for a while, I just haven't been able to pull the trigger.
(There just is something about spending that amount without ever seeing one.)
I've never had a warm LED light and I'm not sure if I should try one or stick with the cool LED.

I'll have to look at the other suggestions and see how they fit.

That V10R looks really nice.
I found a YouTube video made by a CPF dealer [GG] (not sure if I can mention a full name in this particular forum with all that red text at the top).
The execution looks good.
I'm actually a fan of no flashing modes.

I was looking at the Quark Tactical and ended up skipping out to the MiniX 123.
That one looks good.
The interface probably wouldn't bother me as much as the Incendio, as it always starts on low.
And the low is much lower, as well.

Hmmm.
Now it's decision time.

Thanks for the input so far.

An update, for those of you that helped.

I waited for a bit and ordered a V11R, instead of the V10R.
It just came in tonight, along with a I4 charger and 3 AW protected R123A cells.
It is now dark, so I'm going to go play.

And then on an impulse buy, I just ordered a High CRI V11R.
Hope I like the light form factor, 'cause I own two.

My wallet hurts.
In a few minutes, so will my eyes.
