1. After 2 hours or more research, I conclude, surprisingly, $28 Philips e37 (m59 base) bought locally at Home Depot would be best buy (protected and Universal position). Online, I found one for about same price, but had $10 shipping cost...Please correct me if you find a better source.
2. Also, what would be cheapest/best source for compact 6" wide by 6" 115 Volt balast with open cage, for a modification for hanging or base down orientation?
--Specs are in title. But starting from scratch, if weight kept down, 1000 watts would be more useful than 400 watt. Again, only if weight and size were near equal.
--The "Designers Edge" $540 HID design is only good for outdoors (directional), tooooooo pricey to pay for its self in under 5-10 years, too heavy (cast iron, comeon).
