Golight Radioray FUBAR?

Wentt to use the light last night, ad it will nott swing left or right. Up aand down ok, in both speeds. I notice that there is a hum when trying to pan, and the light dims slightly. How hard is it to disassemble?

Remove the big bulky front plastic lens/cover (if it has one). Remove the plastic top of the light via the 4 philips screws from the bottom of the light case. They are deep holes and some you have to get at through the special hole in the square base. Take the top off and you'll see the motor and the big white ring gear. Sounds like something might have come loose and gotten between the motor drive gear and the ring gear. Or maybe the motor froze. Pretty simple to disassemble.
