Texas Get Together?

Are there enought Flashaholics in Texas to spark an intrest in a GT?

I'm located about 35 miles SW for Ft Worth in Granbury.

Roy I would love to but unless my wife goes out of town with the kids or something, I would have to say that I am a no go. Sure sounds like fun though. I am not too far from Granbury (Abilene)

Entirely offtopic: Tomorrow is the initial election for Mayor (etc.). I don't like any of the candidates but I think Bill White will win by a decent margin. Anyhow I know that's off topic but it's interesting to see someone else from Houston floating around CPF.

Out of curiosity -- what do you think of Metro's plan?

I am hoping Orlando Sanchez wins Mayor. (We KNOW there will be a run off...).

I DETEST the Metro Plan. They have already DESTROYED Main and most of downtown. They haven't even finished that, and are looking for the better part of a BILLION to do more damage!

Myself and my Family agree... if they wanted to put a Monorail down all the major freeways we'd be staunch supporterds!!! But all they want to do is take away more private property for a toy train.

To get back on Topic, I am fairly sure I can get the car. I would likely have a couple seats open.

A date and time would be required...

I was kind of going for Sanchez also. Heck, Bob Lanier's support of Bill White was about enough to drive me elsewhere. However, I wasn't a big fan of Sanchez's smear campaign -- seems like he was pulling the same ol' crap that politicians pull every year. We are definitely agreed on the metro project -- horrible plan.

You got it located! I'm about 1/2 mile south of 377 on the SW side of Granbury.

I think a get together is a great idea. I'm just off 377 on
the north side of loop 820 N.
