Minium Vf is 19.2 volt, you may have problems with battery configurations.

Didn't find ~40 lm/w @ 1000mA and a case temp of 75°C to be that amazing, myself...

anyone think its possible to squeeze into a d maglite? where would we get small enough drivers?

1. Optical Characteristics @ TC = 25°C - only valid for lab testing

2. Too much power, way to much heat to manage.

3. LED does not react well to heat, see page 11 of the datasheet for cold white.

Not impressed at all..

They aren't quite robust as the leading Cree competition, but if you need a true 365nm UV led, they're about the only ones available and affordable.
