Those who are choosing 4.18A, does it just make more sense not to push it to the limit? Also the voltage range, I am assuming that driver #2 will be preferable if using a 1x18650 configuration? I don't have much experience with the high draw lights, so a bit of insight would be helpful.

I think these will sag quite a bit less than Vinhs test modules if thats what yer going by.

the host Im using for mine is pretty massive too (KAVElight HL host) and runs 4X18650s in parallel!

It's all about your drive level and the max continuous discharge your cell is capable of. An IMR 16340 could maybe handle the full 4.5A (Haven't looked to see if they exist mind you) but any decent protected 18650 will do it.

OK. Typing this out on my phone so forgive me if I make same obvious typos!

I've updated the thread to an actual pre-sale and the first post has been changed accordingly. Please note the addition of single mode and the availability of blank drop-ins. The cost of the blanks includes postage which is unfortuantly the same as a completed drop-in because of the weight :-(

The list at the end is hopefully clear. I'm pretty sure I captured everyone but if you've paid and you're not on there please let me know ASAP.

I'm limiting the first run to 40 CNCd parts but if demand is there I can up it if I know before placing the order. 40 should be plenty as I don't expect everyone to follow up on their initial interest.

That's all until I can get to a desktop PC!!

IMPORTANT!!!

Please take careful note that the 10508 optic is not narrow frosted. Seen as 10507 is narrow clear, and the frosted optics seem to go in order you'd think it makes sense. But it doesn't. So unless Cutter are being silly with their product numbering it goes 10507, 105011, 10508, 10509, 10510 for clear narrow, frosted narrow, frosted medium, frosted wide, elliptical.

Please study the beam shots in post 1 before declaring what optics you want. I'm not saying anyone has it wrong - just making sure people understand it because it did take me a little while to figure what the hell was going on!

ALSO- the wire hole for the heat sink is centrally located. This means they are no good for Lux-RC modules. If you've ordered a blank P60 drop-in and this screws you over please let me know and I'll refund the cash immediately.

Payment can be made anytime but your order is not guaranteed until you pay and even then I'd prefer payment as soon as possible so I can cut down on having to order multiple shipments of parts (for reasons explained at the very top of the first post).

Now that I am awake again the order list has been updated with people who paid overnight (for me at least!). Please double check I have included your name and that the order is what you actually asked for.

All PM's have also been replied to. We're over 15 (as red_hackle has so excitedly pointed out ) so I'll likely place the CNC order later today or tomorrow morning. Unfortuantely I'm in the same boat as I was yesterday and have a meeting literally all day today which means I'm cooped up in a tiny room with 6 other guys talking about Air Traffic Control systems, which means I have little time to do more important things like flashlights .
