Default are there anyway to change regular non-focusable flashlight to focusable flashlight?

    Hey everyone,
I want to buy a new mini thrower for me,and I wonder,
are there anyway to change a regular non-focusable flashlight, to a focusable flashlight? are there way to change the reflector or something?
Because I think that the same flashlight, with focus option, can be much better thrower, and it can increase the beam distance of the light....
if to be more specific:I want to buy for me the Fenix TK41,are there anyway to make this flashlight focusable? or,are there anyway to change the reflector or something to make the beam more spot than flood?
    thanks advance...

    Hi MT7,

There is always a way, but the end result may be both ugly and inefficient.

If your main goal/desire is to purchase a flashlight that is mostly spot, you would do far better to find a flashlight with a mostly spot beam to begin with.
If the ability to change from spot to flood is important, then again, you will likely be better of buying a focusable flashlight and perhaps considering an upgrade of the emitter (LED), rather than the reflector.

You can try searching google for "flood to throw" for focusable type lights.
Generally, the lights that have a very tight spot, are often also considered to have good throw (the ability to illuminate distant objects), so if that is what you are looking for, you might search for "thrower flashlight".

    I hope that helps.

    Best,
