Anyone used Mammut headlamps? Just wondered if anyone had opinions on general build quality, beam quality(s) and positive / negative experiences?

If you own any of the models, be great to hear from you.

Thanks Steve

If you are thinking about Mammut Lucido TX1 - forget, its hard to switch modes, the light output is very very low and last month i have 3 of those in repair...

I own Mammut TX1, upgraded to XP-G, and TR1, and must agree with Szemhazai.
It's hard to press tiny buttons especially in bike, or winter gloves.
Cable on TX1 is weakness too.

I own X-Zoom and TXlite and use them for caving. Build quality is average, but for the price it`s ok (paid 30$ for txlite, 60$ for x-zoom)
If you plan to use mammut lights on helmet, they are OK, but if you use them directly on your head, they can be pretty uncomfortable.
