Looking for a AAA flashlight

Hi all

I'm new here, and I'd like a recommendation for a single AAA flashlight.

Things I'm interested in are
Compact size
Pocket clip
Clicky tailcap
Multiple settings
Good burntime
Memory

So basically I want a low/med/high AAA job, with the low being as low as a couple of lumens, and the high well under 100, medium somewhere in the 20-40 range.

Price somewhere under 100 if thats possible.
I have a Preon REVO that suits the output levels, just no clicky or pocketclip.

Also if the pocketclip was reversable that would be great (I reverse the clip on my V10R and clip it to my hat, I'd like to be able to do that)

For everything else except memory, I would suggest a Preon1.

Other than that, Maratac AAA is a big hit here. Have you seen the Cu version?

Lumapower LM21 will be perfect for you.

I just saw a streamlight microstream C4, a steady 20+ lumens its a shame about the runtime

I'll look into the preon, but I reckon the clicky tailcap is important

Just stumbled upon the MBI Tornado, even though its a twist on its gotta be a winner

your specs are hard to meet and dont be too restrictive anyway. just look which designs you like and what reviews say about their performance.

Definitely sounds like a Lumapower LM21 will fit the bill perfectly. Only problem is that for your price point of $100 or less, I guess you can get three of them! I'm getting at least a couple...

I've put in an order for an LM21, and I'll be getting an MBI torpedo when that comes out too

Sounds like you need a Prion (Preon?) 2. AAA, three modes, clicky tail cap, pocket clip, etc.
