I keep watching for the new Sunwayman V10A and the Nitecore D11.3,, maybe. Anyone have info on potential new versions of these?

I've heard that the V10A is getting the XML chips, but don't expect a huge increase in output unless you use Li ion batteries.

I'd say if you like a flashlight then just buy it. I still use my lights with the XRE emitters, which I bought over 3-4 years ago, and it's still bright enough for the tasks I need them.

Perhaps he is interested in information about a possible v11a?

Since there's an AA adapter for the V11R, I'm not sure SWM would see the need for a V11A. I wouldn't mind being wrong about that, though.

I think that may be the case, with the extender, they won't make a v10A because the V10R can be both. I already own this, and had the Nitecore, but returned it because it was malfunctioning. The Nitecore was such a small sized light, I'd like to purchase it again some day.

The JetBeam RRT-0 XML might appeal to you as well.

Using a battery tube extender it can take AA or CR123 (the Li ion versions of those better sizes)
