Hi everyone, i have been thinking about getting a new light, i have a Fenix Tk15 but wanted something a bit brighter, i have been looking at the Klarus XT11 and a couple of other ones but i am not sure yet, so any recommendations? i can do about $100

He must have thought you made this form up yourself in the middle of the night cos you couldn't sleep....

The XT11 could indeed be what your are looking for. IMHO though, the brightness levels and the fact that it always comes on on high could be a pain for a camping.
Maybe what you could do is get the XT11 and 1xAA or even better 2xAA flahlight that has a wide variety of modes, invluding very low ones and SOS, to complement the XT11. This way you'd also have a back-up light. An LD12 would be a good secondary option: memory, low mode (3 lumen) and hidden flashing modes. The Klarus ST10 might do too. These are just examples: you'd have plenty of AA flashlights to choose from to complement your XT11!

The downside of the 2 lights set-up is that you'd be overrunning your $100 budget.

thanks for the advice, i have an ld25 but it does not go too low, my TK15 goes down to 5 lumens though
