IIRC there are a few CPFers who anodized their lights. I don't remember off the top of my head who they are, but if you look through the Cool Fall threads you'll find them. Hope that helps. If all else fails you can always contact Dave.
Funniest CPF thread ever. I promise it'll make your day.
There is a nut holding the knob onto the body. A custom nut driver is required to take that nut off. You can make one from a normal nut driver by turning it to a smaller diameter.
Cheers

During the day when I don't need a torch ... RC is my hobbyhttp://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/gallery/47842/Always on the lookout for McGizmo/Kuku Titanium torches with Trits..
Funny, I emailed Dave several days ago asking about this.
A turned down 1/4 driver bit in 3/16 size and it fit my extension perfect to reach down in there.
Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with!
Unfortunately my new knob is only brass and I still need to order trits for it.
Currently I don't have the propper tooling/cutters for Ti.![]()

Can we see photos of the brass knob?
