    Default Was there ever a 800 lumen surefire m6lt?

    I just ordered a surefire m6lt on eBay. I read something about the m6lt having 800 lumens for 1.25 hours and everywhere else it says 900 lumens for 4 hours.

    I didn't receive the light yet, but wanted to know if there was ever a 800 lumen model or were the specs just updated?

    thanks

    The 800 Lumen spec was listed in one of the Surefire catalogues, but by the time it was released, the specs had been bumped to 900 Lumens/4 hours. There are prototypes with different specs, but the only M6LT ever released is the 900 Lumen version.

    Thanks, slightly off topic but what's the deal with the 400 lumen m3lts vs the 800 lumen? Same deal or different leds?

    400 = MC-E
    800 = XM-L

    According to the current specs (just checked) the M6LT has 900Lm for 3.2 hours
