Annular Solar Eclipse on West coast of U.S. on 5/20/12
There will be an annular solar eclipse occurring this Sunday in the late afternoon. An annular eclipse is close to a total eclipse but it causes a ring or halo from the light wrapping around the moon. It would be a total eclipse if the moon was a little closer to earth at the time. This should be a good show.

It was amazing and kinda weird at the same time. All of a sudden it got a full shade darker out, like I was wearing a pair of sunglasses. Kinda strange too but I felt like things were growing quiet. I think the birds were chirping less. It almost felt like time was slowing down? Hard to explain but cool at the same time.
