- Der Wichtel 9A adjustable driver, set to 7A (6v-21v input)
- Der Wichtel SST-90 heatsink, modified to fit any MagD
- WN BIN Luminus SST-90 powerhouse (de-domed for increased throw)
- No mods to spring / tailcap except slight removal of anodising in tailcap for use of 3x26500 IMR cells (not included)
- Slight donut hole (see beamshot pic), but not noticeable at greater distances
- Now with different reflector which makes this light in a very nice thower.

for the 2d sst set up, is that a multi level switch set up? and do you think it could fit in a 1D mag?

No, is not a multilevel setup, sorry .

It could fit in a 1D, but delivering the necessary juice is the hard part. 3 or 4 imr 14500 wil certainly do the job .

De-domed means that the lens in front of the led is removed for added throw. More of the light is caught by the reflector.

Nothing really, less spill but there still is plenty .

On the stt90 there is a glass lens, the silicone is untouched so no phosphor degradation.

Interesting... How hard is it to do? I have an intimator Sr90 how many extra lumens do you think I'd get? And would it throw further?

welcome back ill post pics etc of the build once i get all the parts... prob going to use a MOP aluminum reflector and see what i get from that. Going for 50/50 throw/spill so i wont de-dome

You do not get extra lumens, you get less. Don't you think everyone would be doing this if it just gave you more lumens?
It gives you around 50% more throw in reflectored lights and maybe 35-40% less lumens.
