US Army 5-Volts
Army researchers have managed to up power density with a new electrolyte, beyond 5V. Be interesting to see when this hits mainstream:

Interesting... With all new battery technologies though, you have to be a bit skeptical until proper tests are carried out that insure safety and reliability, and cycle life.
Re: US Army 5-Volts
Also just having high voltage battery is useless...what we need is high power density (high voltage voltage and high amp-hour capacity)

And of course the most important (otherwise it won't be made available): cost effective viability.

Re: US Army 5-Volts
I could use a higher voltage battery. UV led's require higher VF's so single cell UV lights are harder to make.
