Default Eagletac 14500 Li-Ion reads 0.00v after first use...

I got a pair of Eagletac 14500 li-ion batteries. I just runtime tested my AW 14500 in my Quark X on turbo and got 49 minutes. I decided to charge up and run time test one of my new Eagletac's. The light was bright for 48.5 minutes then shut off (as expected). I cooled the light the whole time and the battery was not more than warm to the touch when I removed. However, it appears the over-discharge-protection circuit cut the battery off completely and it now reads 0.00 volts (instead of 3.25v where my AW cuts off at). I tried putting it on my XTAR WP2, but it won't reset the safety. Did I somehow brick my battery? Anyone know how to turn it back on?

Easiest way would be connecting it with your AW 14500 in parallel for couple of seconds, this should reset the protection.

I tried something I did before (Shadowww's comment jarred my memory):

Put a good cell on the charger
Use wires to link + to + and - to - on the bad battery

I don't know if this is just doing exactly what Shadowww recommended (running two batteries in parallel) or if this tricks the charger into applying a current into the bad battery... but it worked!

    Thanks guys.
