Is a 2-mode for this Drop-in planned?
I jumped some hoops to acquire 3 more U2 Copper. I should have them in about 1-1.5week. If you are interested please let me know.
I have sent $55 for one already in post #57 I hope you noticed? (Unique Transaction ID 3ET40413VL744290M)
Direct drive, shallow reflector for throw, solder filled.
Thanks
I got your PM, that would be:
$55 -> Copper PCB 1300 Lumen Drop-in
$12 -> 2 Modes
$67 Total
Is it $12 per extra mode?
So if I wanted a 3 Mode, would it be an extra $12 or $24?
$55 -> Copper PCB 1300 Lumen Drop-in
$24 -> 3 Modes
$79 Total??
Thanks!

Pay pal sent $62
1300 lumen drop in
McClicky to fit Solarforce host
I just found some copper PCB for XML that are are about 3 times as thick as the kind previously used. With some modification these PCB will truly be DIRECT LED ON COPPER as the previous much thinner copper LED PCB we used! :-)
Ok thanks

No. It will still be super hot. It should be hotter faster than before since u got more copper for direct and immediate heat withdrawel. This might result is a higher peak lumen though. Larger light will benefit greatly from this large copper pcb as I will not have to remove any precious copper.

i am interested in one. bright white, 1 mode. 2 questions. 1 in the first post you show a thicker heat-sink and shallower reflector and vice versa. what do the beams look like when compared? is there a noticeable loss in throw with the shallower one? i know the heat dissipation will be better. do you still sell both? 2. when is the soonest you could have one made up? im in a time sensitive situation which is why i ask. 3. would these drop ins work well in an oveready cryos cooling bezel sized z32/m2 head? its supposed to have great heat dissipation. thanks
i added a third question after i had started typing and forgot to change it to 3 questions haha.
I'd like one, along with a McClicky for a Solarforce tailcap, but I'm not quite clear on whether or not any are immediately available...I've sent you a PM.![]()
