The increase in water pressure would push the switch in making it unusable.

What about that magnetic one you were playing with a while ago?
I may have used incorrect terminology. I am looking for a push once for on, push again for off switch. Commercially available dive lights have them so I know they exist and function at depth.

Ah yes. The UF DT1.
Not a clicky switch but a momentary switch operated by a magnet and hall effect sensor.
I use the switch in a can light but it also needs other components to make it toggle. Also the spring is not stainless and rusts out so needs replacing.
Probably better ways of doing it that robbing the UF DT1
