Canada Post left a new toy on my porch today :) I picked up this WWII "Bad *** Machete" at a recent USN auction.

Barry Jones did a great job on the scales

Beautiful relic of WWII. I have always had a fondness for machete's, particularly those of good quality. Has this one been re-conditioned?

Details on the restoration are here  My intention was to use it, but its just to cool. I bought a Deuce for my chopping needs instead

Very cool.
I had almost forgotten about a knive/bayonette my father had picked up from Germany during WWII. From memory, about a 16"blade with a nice sheath, and engraved. Not something I would carry around, but wonder if I should take it one of those Pawn Star guys.
