I am thinking of upgrading a cheap plastic searchlight (the type you can get at the grocery store cheap) with a modern LED. It runs on a 6 volt battery that has no markings on it other than the voltage on top. The reflector is large but not very deep and therefore I dont expect any kind of throw out of this thing.
What LED would output the most off of A 6 volt? An XM-L?, SST-90?
