General Guidelines that applies to all of my P60/D26 XML Drop in

- Please wrap the drop in tightly with aluminum foil before inserting it into your host. PM me if you are unsure how to do this.
- Free Shipping World Wide
- Please include your CPF name and Shipping address
- I take money order too
- Orange Peel reflectors has best beam with sacrifice of some throw. The orange peel effect is actually on the light side.
- Smooth reflectors are great for THROWS but beam profile not as perfect as OP.
- All LEDs will be mounted on Copper PCB and gets solder filled from now on.

Re: vinhnguyen54 D26/P60 XML XPE-R4 Drop In Run 7 Sale Thread, COPPER PCB NOW AVAILA

I got mine earlier today, put some copper tape on it and ran it on two LiFePO4.

The sucker's bright. Ceiling bounce comparison between my configuration (4.2A, U2 bin) to a TN11 running on 4xCR123A, the former is slightly brighter.

TN11 on max power already puts out an impressive 943 OTF lumens, according to turboBB's measurements. I figure the drop-in is doing a little more than 1,000 OTF lumens at current state.

To be honest, it really should be putting out more lumens since I'm using the stock Surefire pyrex lens. I figure it would be doing around an additional 40~50 lumens if I swapped out the pyrex lens with UCL. Not a big deal, since I prefer durability over near-imperceptible lumen loss.

All in all, great work.

XM-L U2
1-mode, high current, medium voltage
4.2A
Smooth reflector
Copper PCB

Disgustingly bright, to say the least. I've sure had fun blinding people even when their eyes were shut.

Me: "Hey, wanna see something ridiculous?"
Co-worker: "What?"
Me: "Close your eyes."
Co-worker: *closes eyes*
Me: *blast him in the face*
Co-worker: "AARRRRGGHHH!!" *turns face away*

Multi-Mode High Current & Low Voltage option: 2.7-4.5V max

Can the end user change this from Memory to No-memory?

Can the end user change between the 8 different program settings or must this be set when assembled?

The user can change with a soldering iron. Its very easy.

question:

for: "Multi-Mode High Current and Medium Voltage: 2.8-6V
- 2800mA - 5600mA"

is there any reason to do 5600 mA? or is 4200 mA better? I'm curious as to what's brightest but will still not drain the battery instantly lol

If you do deep pill shallow reflector set up with 3/4 solder filled running 6A and copper pcb xml-u2 you could actualyl squezzes out about 1300 lumen. Otherwise 4.2A is good for the typical set up.
