Can anyone enlighten me as to what raw and beaded ti finishes look like, possibly with a pic? I'm assuming beaded means slightly more polished than raw, but would it be a lighter colour too?

Hi MatNeh,
As HKJ mentioned, the neutral offering refers to the Nichia 219's.
Not quite as powerful as the XM-L but its been hailed by many as the "perfect tint".

From the preorder site: "Nichia 219 - Neutral tint, not as bright but perfect color rendition, slightly more focused beam"

Hi Michael,

The size I used in the photos is the 1.5x5mm
Im planning to test the 2x8mm but thinking they may be a tiny bit too long.
Checking up on one more size 2mm x 6mm.

For now, I don't think I can offer trits because of import restrictions where I am.
just 1 or 2 can slip through inside a product but any modest quantity will be inspected and possibly restricted.

Just need to find a container big enough to anodize the whole rod

Serial Numbers...
For now my plan is that each raw material will have its own serials range starting at 00001.
That means Ti Raw/Blasted share the same range (just to make sure in 99 years, if your blasted looks raw, you wont be confused).

And I have a feeling that most of you will probably guess the serials correctly, as long as no-one has guessed that serial already,
In Ti 1~125, Br 1~30, and maybe some higher numbers as we go along....
Copper will have its own range too.

Expecting to hear back from a copper supplier tomorrow.

Thanks very much for your order and pointing out that the 10440 body is not enough to build a complete light with just another head. It was almost morning here

The trits I used in the photos were the 1.55x5mm.
I'll post the specs of the trit slots (size) when I get a moment but diameter of the hole is 2mm, just need to check the length.
I think from memory 8mm. Let me see if I can get a hold of some 2x8mm trits to test.

Everything works out fine I know, just tried to be a bit funny. And I think it is only the third light (for myself) this year. Or maybe fourth. And the first ones were cheap. Or at least affordable. I think.

I guess it is 1,55*5 then.. But waiting for your tests. I didn't actually order the light yet , since I was planning to buy the copper version. But it might be that I end up choosing Ti after all, due to the more inert nature of the metal and because the everlasting silver color is stylish always and everywhere. Decisions, decisions...

Titanium is timeless, but most raw metals are.
I really like the retro look of brass too.

As not everyone has listed their cpf name in the order message, can I ask you to help me (help you) by requesting as follows:

That way I can match it up with your order correctly and its easier to search for the 3 ### when the time comes.
