Hi GrimCreaper,
Thanks for letting me know.
I updated the link on the products sub-page
Hi MT,
Yes, I was meaning just a holster kind of thing
Glad you found the comparison photo.
Hi nfetterly,
Thanks. Hoping to get some 2x8mm trits so I can do a quick test.
Glad you worked out your subscription settings.
Hi MatNeh,
As HKJ mentioned, the neutral offering refers to the Nichia 219's.
Not quite as powerful as the XM-L but its been hailed by many as the "perfect tint".
Hi HKJ,
Thank you
Hi Ward,
The red glow is a red lens holder ring, similar to the one in the Torpedo
Hi DBC,
Thanks very much.
Maybe give one to your wife and she may just be converted
Hi MatNeh,
Glad its sorted out and sorry for any confusion.

Titanium for HF's has arrived

I think i may have a suggestion! Have you considered making additional heads to sell separately? Something to consider after youve completed the first run if everything gos smoothly. Just thought i would throw it out there![]()
You know.. I am not sure how i missed those posts. I mean.. i know ive read those pages o_0 but i missed both somehow. Ah well, glad to see people beat me to the punch and hes already got it in consideration
TGWNN: I just put in that second order for the dual mode charger. So much excitement building up now >.>

Any update on the tritium size? Will it be possible to have the light shipped with trits installed?
Michael
Hi DBC / Silgt,
Thanks for sorting that out
DBC,
Thanks very much.
So here's the latest rendition of the logo / serial (thanks Alex)
btw, the edges will be slightly rounded but not yet visible in this image.

Hi Michael,
The size I used in the photos is the 1.5x5mm
Im planning to test the 2x8mm but thinking they may be a tiny bit too long.
Checking up on one more size 2mm x 6mm.
For now, I don't think I can offer trits because of import restrictions where I am.
just 1 or 2 can slip through inside a product but any modest quantity will be inspected and possibly restricted.

Lets have a contest on who could guess their serial numbers! Im guessing #12 for the Ti and #3 for brass......

Love the pics of the raw materials Guy! As a Ti fanatic, that looks like treasure to me, a case full of 3/4" Titanium rods, to die for!![]()
Hi Alex,
I know the feeling oh so well!
waiting......
Hi Michael,
think lucky thoughts
Thought you'd appreciate them.
Just need to find a container big enough to anodize the whole rod
Serial Numbers...
For now my plan is that each raw material will have its own serials range starting at 00001.
That means Ti Raw/Blasted share the same range (just to make sure in 99 years, if your blasted looks raw, you wont be confused).
And I have a feeling that most of you will probably guess the serials correctly, as long as no-one has guessed that serial already,
In Ti 1~125, Br 1~30, and maybe some higher numbers as we go along....
Copper will have its own range too.
Expecting to hear back from a copper supplier tomorrow.

#00001 for me then...done!![]()

Hi Guys,
Thanks for posting.
Ive had emails asking for numbers....
I think its best to post them all here so you can keep track and I dont get multiple mails for the same number.
and just for the record, ALL the numbers are winning numbers
These numbers already gone (sorry Silgt)
Ti:
#00001
#00022
#00017 (post above)
#00220 (if we get that far)
Br:
#00001
#00022
Whoever orders the first copper can still get #00001
when it becomes available.
(I hope tomorrow I can confirm the delivery timing of the copper stock)

Everything works out fine I know, just tried to be a bit funny. And I think it is only the third light (for myself) this year. Or maybe fourth. And the first ones were cheap. Or at least affordable. I think.
I guess it is 1,55*5 then.. But waiting for your tests. I didn't actually order the light yet, since I was planning to buy the copper version. But it might be that I end up choosing Ti after all, due to the more inert nature of the metal and because the everlasting silver color is stylish always and everywhere. Decisions, decisions...
Number 1 would of course be always nice. I like the number 7 too, and I must say that considering the nature of the light, the secret agent number double-double-0 7 (00007) would suit to it very well...![]()
edit: Didn't realize I was this slow... Or perhaps it was because I was eating and listening to radio at the same time. Didn't see 4 last answers before posting.

Hi Esko,
Thanks for the post.
Im trying to arrange some 2mm x 6mm trits which would be good, I'd just prefer not to be arrested over it
Titanium is timeless, but most raw metals are.
I really like the retro look of brass too.
Pre-order for copper may happen anytime in the next 24-72hours... (fingers crossed).
tgwnn
I'd request my lucky number, #23, if at all possible. Thanks!!
Tgwnn, was the 22 on both mine or someone else? If someone else, 2 or 12 would be fine![]()

Just got back to find this surprise! Now I'm torn between the options and I still need to get a hold of my cousin after work before I can order. Keep some for me!
Any plans to put some 219's in the copper version?
Cataract,
Shiny things specialist.
Titanium is timeless... and copper is special. You can make a surgical instruments out of titanium, but you can kill the bacteria with copper.
Titanium - timelessness
brass - retro
copper - steampunk (at least when tarnished - if allowed to do that)
Before I posted the last answer, I didn't see that we could actually choose the serial number (although I suspected that it might be the case). My first choice would be #1 if free and second choice would be #7, but since I have not ordered yet and especially since I started to wonder if I after all would choose Ti over Cu, I believe I should not have dibs to any number before the actual order.
Hi Zeruel,
Waiting on confirmation from Alex/climberkid,
if he chooses another you can have it.
Hi smokelaw1,
you got it.
Hi Alex,
sent you a mail.
22 is taken, sorry.
as you asked first, you can have #2 if you want or 12, etc.
Hi Cataract,
Sure, I can do that
Hi Esko,
Nice post
#1 is history
#7 is yours but... you need to order it, just to be fair.
I can hold it in CU until Cu pre-orders start though if you like.
Hi Silgt,
You got it!
Some help & clarity please
If you'd like to request a specific serial, I'm more than happy to give it to you provided its available.
As not everyone has listed their cpf name in the order message, can I ask you to help me (help you) by requesting as follows:
###00001 - Ti - TransactionId - cpfname
###00110 - Br - TransactionId - cpfname
That way I can match it up with your order correctly and its easier to search for the 3 ### when the time comes.
Thanks so much
tgwnn
13 for my TI please. I will send you the info to match that order. Thank you!
