one of my officers has a beatup Stinger and he wants to upgrade it to an LED dropin module, however, the currently flimsy plastic (stock) lens is warped and so on. what size lens does he need for a fix? would a borofloat or UCL lens work better as a replacement (so far as FlashlightLens.com is stocking?)?

Even if you find a right size Boro/UCL lens, It needs special tool to remove and another tool to reinstall the press fit lens.
Easier choice is to get another brand new bezel/reflector/lens which is not expensive or send the bad one to Streamlight to replace the lens.
