My son has a red aa mini mag that never got used much but hasn't worked for a while. We took it apart the other day and I realized that one of the contacts on the bottom of the switch has broken off. He tried to use some flat copper to jury rig a fix but couldn't get it to work. I know I can order a new switch but it will cost $5 or so and I can buy him a new light for 9.
do any of you modders have a drawer full of these laying around that you would part w 1 or 2 for cheap?

Alternatively if there is a relatively reasonable led dropin that doesn't requir the original switch that may be something I would be interested in.

Thanks so much,

Call or email Mag. They'll send you a replacement switch plus an installation tool just for the asking.

Thanks PCC! I will give that a try. When I looked at the owners info from a package, it said I would have to send it in and then pay $3 for postage back.

If that doesn't work, I may have a spare kicking around somewhere. Emphasis on maybe, but…
