I just noticed that ebuyer.com are advertising Contour batteries as the 'world's best battery'.

1500 times rechargeable
2100mAh
75% charge after 3 years
Made in Japan

They have an introductory offer of £6.99 for 4, as opposed to the usual £14.99 (!).
Are these eneloops is disguise? Has anyone tried these batteries yet? I'd be interested to hear if anyone has.

2100mAh are not Eneloops ('loops are either 2000mAh or 2500mAh for the XX version), could be some chinese LSD (such as GP ReCyko, Sony CycleEnergy etc).

It says that 2100 mAh is based on the new EU Battery Capacity Regulation Directive. I tried to look this up, but I couldn't find anything useful. My eneloops generally hold 2100mAh, so I wondered is this is an average measurement, as there is no mention of "minimum".

I've got 8 GP ReCyKo AAs and they're 2050 mAh and made in China, so we're bracketing OP's battery. My Imedions are 2400 mAh, with a min. of 2250 mAh.

I just passed 4 months on the 4th, doing a 1 year, 3 brand, 4 cell LSD shootout with Eneloops, GPs and the Imedions.

It'll be interesting to see what I see.
