Penlight Recommendation?

Looking for the SLIMMEST (but brightest) penlight that uses aaa size batteries. Need it to be slim to fit into uniform sleeve pen holder. Any suggestions?

The Foursevens Preon 2 should fit into a pen holder. The Fenix LD0, Ledlenser P4 AFS and the Streamlight Stylus Pro should be very similar in diameter as well.

As far as I know, most penlights are about 0.6 inches in diameter.

what's it for? does PWM bother you?

the brightest mode of any light pretty much never uses pwm..

Hypetac P1A is 90 lumens, P2A ia 120 lumens they both have pwm on the lower modes

Check out the HypeTac penlights at Shining Beam website. Two of the models run on one AAA, and the other two models run on two AAAs. All four models are true penlights, with a diameter of 1.4 cm.

If you want something thinner, then consider the streamlight stylus AAAA (quadruple A) light.
